About
Originally from Ireland and now living in West Sussex, I create oil paintings that explore the inner world of childhood, memory, and the emotional complexities of motherhood. Painting is how I process experiences — a way to tell stories, reflect, and make sense of the world around me.
After 13 years teaching art in secondary schools and sixth forms, I now work as a freelance artist educator. I run art classes and private sessions, with a real passion for helping people grow in creative confidence. I believe everyone has the ability to make art — sometimes it just takes the right environment and encouragement.
Making art has supported me through difficult times, and I know how powerful it can be as a form of expression and comfort. Whether through painting or teaching, my aim is to share that sense of connection, creativity, and clarity with others.
