UPCOMING DATES:
18th, 25th Sep & 2nd, 7th, 16th Oct
Interested in joining our art class but can’t attend all five weeks? You’re very welcome to book a single session (or two!).
Simply click “Add to Cart” and select the date(s) you’d like to attend in the booking form.
If you’re joining for a single session or two, don’t worry — I’ll provide a complete, self-contained activity so you can practise key techniques and leave with something you’re proud of.
No need to bring a thing — all materials are provided. The fee includes all materials, including acrylic paints and canvas paper.
The Feb/March course focuses on acrylic painting, including:
Brush control
Colour mixing
Acrylic painting
Practical painting exercises
Tips and techniques from a practising artist
A supportive, informal atmosphere
Biscuits included ☕🍪
The Deall Room
Southwick Community Centre
24 Southwick St, Southwick, BN42 4TE
Most basic materials are provided and I always have spares if you need something. If you’re coming along for a one-off trial session, you can borrow everything you need, so there’s no need to buy materials before you’ve decided whether the class is for you.
If you decide to continue, you’ll need a good-quality watercolour pad (I recommend Seawhite) and some drawing paper. You’re welcome to borrow watercolour sets during class, although many people choose to invest in their own materials once they’ve been coming for a while.
If you’d like your own complete set of the materials we regularly use, I also have an Art Pack available to buy in a handy A3 carry case.
(Don't worry — spares available if you forget!)
A jar or cup for water
Paper towel
Optional: plastic folder to take your work home
Select the quantity of classes you can attend and then tick the required dates on the booking form.
